Woman killed in early morning accident on I-20 | News
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A Jackson woman was killed in a vehicle accident on Interstate 20 in Warren County early Monday morning.
Shortly after 3 a.m., an SUV driven by 51-year-old Elizabeth Smith ran off the road on I-20 eastbound near mile marker 7 and overturned, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Smith was airlifted to University of Mississippi Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.
Smith was wearing a seatbelt, according to MHP.
